2026 Topps Chrome Disney: Movies, Smarter Team Display, and Multi-Signer Counts

June 24, 2026

FeatureChecklist

Entertainment sets now label the team field as "Movie," and the character-list team shown for each subject is the most-frequent franchise instead of an alphabetical accident — so Mickey, Donald, and Goofy correctly read "Mickey & Friends" instead of a stray MLB jersey-crossover team. Also fixed multi-signer autograph counting so co-signers like Mrs. Incredible and Dale finally show their cards, and corrected a mislabeled triple auto.

2026 Topps Chrome Disney — Movie Labeling & Multi-Signer Fixes

A set of display and data corrections for the Disney release (and improvements that apply site-wide).

  • "Team" → "Movie" for character sets: The set and character pages now label the team field as Movie for entertainment (character-role) sets, matching the existing Athlete→Character labeling. Role-based, so any future character set inherits it automatically.
  • Most-frequent franchise, not alphabetical: The character list previously showed each subject's *alphabetically-last* team, which for the Mickey & Friends MLB jersey-crossover cards surfaced a stray MLB team (e.g. Mickey as "St. Louis Cardinals"). It now shows the most-frequent team, so Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all correctly read Mickey & Friends. None of the legitimate per-card MLB jersey data was changed. This applies to every set, not just Disney.
  • Multi-signer cards now count for every signer: Co-signers on dual/triple autographs were not being counted, so characters who only appear as a co-signer showed zero cards. Counting now includes co-signer links site-wide — Mrs. Incredible (Dual Auto with Mr. Incredible) and Dale (Triple Auto) now correctly show their cards, and co-signers inherit the card's movie (Mrs. Incredible → *The Incredibles*).
  • Triple Auto correction: A triple autograph was stored with one signer mislabeled as the "Chip & Dale" duo. It's now the three distinct signers Chip + Dale + Pluto, with the standalone "Chip & Dale" duo card elsewhere left intact.
  • No remaining characters list zero cards.
